ATD (Association Trophée Dragster) 

 Hello European drag racer, have you heard about the French Dragster Trophy from the ATD association?

It’s 6 years now since we have begun our French trophy, with 5 races a year and six classes as following:

- Super Comp ET Dulamon Auto from 8s90 to 7s50
- Super Gas Pacific Garage 9s90
- Super Street Pak Manutention 10s90
- Street Run A Rod & Kustom 12s
- Street Run B Francedrag.com 13s
- Street Run C Nitro de 14s à 16s
- Junior Dragster index times

2007 will be the birth of the super comp ET category. Because Comp eliminator is too difficult for us to manage, we have decided to create a new category for racer who can go faster than 8s90 with a 7s50 limit. The people who organize the French Dragster Trophy are Racer only; maybe you know us, Eric ANGELONI, Patrick DUBOIS, Christophe DUBOIS, Christian MAZURE, Gilbert ROZET, or Jean DULAMON. We were bored of bad racing management, waiting on pre stage line and only 3 runs a week-end!

In 2007 and 2008, more than 350 different racers from France, Germany, Switzerland, and Italy have enjoyed racing in France! We have made an average of ten qualification runs for each race, of course, not mandatory if your engine can’t handle so much activity…. or if you prefer to keep your fuel for the race !

Entrance fees are used to pay the money prize and are guaranteed by the ATD. No bad surprise. Here is the rewards :
Super Comp ET: - winner: 750 €, second: 350 €, 3rd et 4th : 250 €
Super Gas: - winner: 600 €, second: 300 €, 3rd et 4th :150 €
Super Street: - winner: 450 €, second: 250 €, 3rd et 4th : 100 €
Street Run A: - winner: 200 €, second: 100 €, 3rd et 4th : 50 €
Street Run B: - winner: 160 €, second: 80 €, 3rd et 4th : 40 €
Street Run C ET: - winner: 120 €, second: 60 €, 3rd et 4th : 30 €

Pilotes de drag ou fan de Drag Racing, Savez-vous qu’il existe une compétition en France comprenant 5 courses ?
Depuis 5 années, une association de pilotes (l’ATD) a créé le trophée national dragster permettant à chaque pilote français et étranger, de venir faire des courses de 400m sur de belles pistes en France.

7 catégories sont représentées :
- Classe Super Comp ET   DULAMON AUTO  de 7,5s à 8,9s
- Classe Super Gas   PACIFIC GARAGE   en 9,9s
- Classe Super Street   PAK MANUTENTION   en 10,9s
- Classe Street Run A   ROD & KUSTOM     en 12s
- Classe Street Run B   FRANCEDRAG.COM     en 13s
- Classe Street Run C/ET   NITRO     de 14s à 16s
- Junior Dragster index temps

En 2008, plus de 350 pilotes ont participé à ce Trophée (dont des pilotes Anglais, Italiens et Suisses) sur les courses de CHAMBLEY (54), LANAS (07), LURCY LEVIS (03), MENDE (48) et VICHY (03)

Pour l'année 2009, 5 courses sont prévues :
1, 2, 3 mai 2009 Mirecourt- Epinal (88)
5, 6, 7juin 2009 Lanas- Aubenas (07)
4 et 5 juillet 2009 Lurcy Levis (03)
1 et 2 août 2009 Mende Brenoux (48)
11, 12, 13 septembre 2009 Malbouhans (70)
 
Amis pilotes Français et étrangers, avez-vous un véhicule performant pour soutenir la comparaison avec les autres ?
Si oui, des primes sont proposées pour les 4 premiers de chaque catégories......
